Melodic blackened death metal outfit Solium Fatalis has announced the upcoming release of Genetically Engineered To Enslave. The band’s fourth album in five years features guest appearances by members of Cryptopsy and Chthe’list. Solium Fatalis features Jeff DeMarco on bass and vocals, Jim Gregory and Ryan Beevers on guitars and Jeff Saltzman on drums, the alchemy of which has created a whirlwind of blackened death metal.
The career of Solium Fatalis started in 2013 with the full length debut album featuring production by Fredrik Nordstrom (At The Gates, Dimmu Borgir) and stunning artwork by Seth Siro Anton (Exodus, Paradise Lost, Septicflesh). With such frame conditions, the band got a kick start of the career.
Solium Fatalis could concentrate of developing their brand of extreme metal. They became an active and enthusiastic band and in 2015 they made the record The Undying Season, which show a band that utterly has developed and refined their sound.
Genetically Engineered To Enslave features guest vocals by Matt McGachy (Cryptopsy) and Haydee Irizarry (Carnivora) as well as a guest guitar solo by Phil Tougas (First Fragment, Chthe’list) and features a concept throughout the record regarding genetic engineering and artificial intelligence (GE and AI).
