Jaan Wessman: Jack of all trades
Jaan Wessman - None For The Money, Two For The Show

A versatile multi-instrumentalist, Jaan Wessman has recorded and performed with many acts such as The Breed, Jonne Aaron, Pate Mustajärvi, Paleface and Tango For Four. His debut album None For The Money, Two For The Show is an explosion of musical wizardry and a wide range of influences. He has written and performed all the songs on the album himself, playing almost all of the instruments.
Ever since he was given a pair of drum sticks at a very tender age, resulting in the all-too-classic scenario of pots and pans assembled for a make-shift drum kit, Jaan Wessman’s life has been a continuous adventure in music. Starting out as a drummer with his first band, Pincer, Wessman soon picked up the electric guitar and became fast interested in all things to do with strings. A man of many musical talents, Wessman’s interest in stuff you can either or strum or hit only grew. And so grew the reputation of a boy who’s only interest was to make the music sound good, regardless of the genre.
Back to present day, the man’s list of chosen instruments is only preceded by the artists and bands he’s performed/recorded with. A self-acclaimed “jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none”, Wessman finds peace at playing the drums, bass, guitar, keyboards, vocals, varied percussion, Chapman Stick, mandolin, and a host of all kinds of other musical tools to enhance the overall performance of any given situation.
