Cold Night For Alligator: No musical novices
Cold Night For Alligator - Fervor

Cold Night For Alligators is a respected and forward-thinking progressive metal outfit from Copenhagen, Denmark. Swaying the world with their innovative take on technical metalcore and playing numerous shows including Euroblast, UK Tech-Fest, and even the far east of India, these guys are no musical novices. Their upcoming sophomore album Fervor is a further development of their brutal and uncompromising debut Course Of Events, which was hailed for its edge and originality. Now three years later the band is stepping up their game with more focus on songwriting and showcasing a mature, more emotional take on progressive metal.
Coming out of a flourishing Danish metal scene, bringing that certain Nordic noir to the table, Cold Night For Alligators bring forth a style that you might recognize, but you probably haven’t had a experienced like this before? Fervor is co-produced by the band and Mirza Radonjica-Bang (Ghost Iris, Møl, Siamese), mixed at Fascination Street Studios by Ricardo Rodrigues and mastered by Jens Bogren. Fervor” will be released through Long Branch Records on streaming sites and LP November 9th, 2018.
The band states: «We’re immensely proud of this record. Coming off the previous album we wanted to create a new sound which captures people’s ears and imaginations. Our goal was to emphasize stronger songwriting, big soundscapes and a certain playfulness which keeps the audience intrigued, rather than technicality for technicality’s sake, which we feel that we’ve accomplished. It’s softer, darker and more nuanced than Course Of Events, and to us represents perfectly where we are as people. This was hard work, and we’re thrilled to finally share the result with the world».
