Lawrence is the sixth largest city in Kansas, and the home town to the band Tetrafuze. They consist of four very different members that came together to make hard Rock and netal. Landon Randall, who does vocals and shares guitar duties with Kaylon Grimsley, has influences such as Metallica, System Of A Down, Slipknot, and Stone Sour. Grimsley on the other hand, has influences mainly from Muse and the Arctic Monkeys. Grimsley and Randall share rhythm and lead to allow for the most creative input as possible.
Travis Collins plays the bass, and his biggest influences include Tool and Three Days Grace. The ambient and heavy feelings he can stir up when playing are prevalent every time he performs and writes. Last but not least is Tyler Secrest on drums. He has heavy influences from Tool as well as Breaking Benjamin. Secrests has a long history of concert percussion and strives to learn more and more music theory every day. With these four coming together, they fuse their styles together to make exactly what they feel.
They really succeed and make music that stands out in the crowd .Tetrafuze have recently completed their first full-length album Welcome Home, a concept album which captures the group’s freshness and diversity. Welcome Home is due for release via Sliptrick Records in 2019.
