Vederkast: Grief, anger and nostalgia
Vederkast – And In The Abyss They Sleep

Vederkast is from the Scandinavian`s Paris, Tromsø, and their last offering is And In The Abyss They Sleep. Rob Mules Records is the label that support Vederkast, and they are also from Tromsø. And In The Abyss They Sleep was released yesterday actually.
Some quotes about the new album,
«In each track are emotions that are transmitted immediately, grief, anger, nostalgia».
«The riffs are heavy, intense and technically at the highest level».
«There is no denying that Reflection Linger sounds great. It is very atmospheric, in the middle of hopefulness and melancholiness».
Three years ago Vederkast debut album Northern Gothic was released, and then the band and toured in Europe. And In The Abyss They Sleep offers a very exciting progressive mix of hard rock and stoner rock. Vederkast is obvious inspired by the beautiful but rugged and wild nature of northern Norway.
The band chose to record the album in a community house in the small, windy village of Bleik in northern Norway, without worrying about the requirements a man connects with a complete audio studio. Such a stunt can often lead to an appealing authenticity! Bleik is incidentally translated to English livid! Vederkast is definitely not livid but mostly colorful and fresh!
