Sonic Horizon: With modern fullness and clarity
Sonic Horizon – World Of Change

World Of Change is an album from Sonic Horizon that blends modern progressive elements with a some clear influence from 80s metal. Nostalgic is the word. Inspirations source are many and varied as Van Halen, Journey, Guns N Roses, Faith No More, Rush, Van Halen, Journey, with more contemporary counterparts like Tool, Muse and Dream Theater. Agile and bouncy bass line, evocative synths, tight rhythm guitars and very nice guitar lines on a retro bottom. The band even though keep their own exciting signature in their music. It sounds fresh and it`s a more than enough challenging music.
The album features instrumentalist and vocalist Jason Hamilton’s diverse musical influences, ranging from hard rock, prog, classical, jazz, latin, funk, and hard rock. World Of Changes is an eclectic mix of music from the past decades, but with a modern approach. A dynamic mix of the late 80s and early 90s, but with modern fullness and clarity.
Each track is based on the story of a real person. The album’s overall message is centered on the human nature beneath life’s challenges and the fight for dreams of the future. Similarly, audio passages ranging from gentle orchestras to crushing guitar riffs ultimately create equal opportunity for head banging and existential thoughtfulness alike.
