Protomythos: Blessed by thousand kittens!
Protomythos - Heavy Crowns

The band Protomythos says, «Here’s Bury Your Head, the first song off of the new album Heavy Crowns. Like, comment or share and you will be blessed by a thousand kittens»!
Protomythos is the musical project of Israeli-born, London-based musician Tom Treivish. He started recording material in his home studio in 2002. Actually he made enough music for several albums. Before and during that time he was part of a band that didn’t last long and he decided to do things his way and record his own music.
After writing and recording in his home studio for several years, Treivish decided to record a concept album that centers on a subject close to his heart, animal rights. In 2011, he began to consolidate the songs into the album In Human Sight. That album was a rock concept that comprises of 10 original songs that stray away from the mainstream while remaining accessible and engaging. The album was released in 2013 and received many positive reviews and suddenly Protomythos was discovered by many progheads. Twenty percent of the album sales was donated to animal rights organizations!
In 2015, Tom Treivish began working on the next album, Heavy Crowns, which was recorded mainly in London and marks a different musical direction, incorporating more metal elements. Heavy Crowns was mixed by Grammy-winning mix engineer Michael Brauer (Coldplay, Bon Jovi, Dream Theater, John Mayer, Bob Dylan, Rolling Stones) and mastered by Maor Appelbaum (Faith No More, Yes, Halford, Sepultura).
Treivis obviously seeks quality in the production of his music! It sounds very smart. Heavy Crowns will be released at the end of January.
