Humanity Zero was formed in 2008 by Dimon’s Night, ex- Heathendom and Buried Emotion. On the fifth album Proselytism Dimon`s Night is joined by Kydoimos from Misanthropy Apotheosis on vocals. But Humanity Zero started as one man’s band with Dimon’s Night playing all the instruments except the vocals. The first vocalist was CoproJunkie (current vocals at Inhibitions) who participated in the two first demos Humanity Zerο Αnd Parade Of The Ungrateful.
The band continues with the same formation at their first EP Death List And Life and the first album Para-Dies except the change of the vocalist, joining the band Kwstas Sarcastic (current vocalist at Sarcastic Obedience) after the departure of CoproJunkie. At that time the band played death dmetal.
In the second studio album from 2012 the formation of the band changes from one man’s band into a normal form of band. John Ginis (ex- Sarcastic Obedience) joining the band on rhythm guitars and Xara Xatziwannidou (ex- Benefactor Decease)on vocals .
After the release of 2012 the band is remodeling their formation. Xara Xatziwannidou left the band and Giannis Necro-Scar joined on vocals, Vaggelis V Kappa on lead guitars and H.C. Agrippa on bass. With these members they had the album which will be named Excecution Ground in 2013. Four years later the forth release Withered Isoation with Stelakis on violin and Johnie Panagiotidis on vocal.
Withered Isoation was a style change for Humanity Zero in a more doom oriented sound and much more atmospheric music. The music now had sad guitar based tunes and complaining violin. The album Proselytism is a further development of the music carved out on Withered Isoation. The music on Proselytism is even more atmospheric and slower and are definitely more sublime than ever.
The song Ruler Of The Ultimate Void Of Chaos is an example of the new Humanity Zero. Very scary but dreamy and creepy and beautiful and supported by Kydoimo’s powerful ghostly howl and growl. The music is mesmerizing and nervous guitar lines and the feeling of pain and perdition is always present.
