Grice – One Thousand Birds

UK act Grice is the solo vehicle of vocalist, composer and instrumentalist Jim Peters. He has been the formative member of a number of bands over the years, Laugh Like A Madman, The Burning Martyrs, The Martyrs, Swanston and Hungersleep. He has also composed music for television and documentary features. South London-born musician and singer/songwriter Grice has built his reputation since 2012 with his conceptual debut album Propeller which was shortlisted at the MPG Awards. The subsequent releases of his second album Alexandrine and The Grey Of Granite Stone EP have rewarded him with critical acclaim in leftfield and progressive art rock circles. Blending his ballad-singer openness and the feathered strength-and-vulnerability of his distinctive and resonating voice with a wide range of acoustic instruments and electronic production elements. That have given him the opportunity to collaborate on his own terms with instrumental and production luminaries such as Richard Barbieri (Japan, Porcupine Tree), Steve Jansen (Japan), Raphael Ravenscroft (Gerry Rafferty, Pink Floyd), BJ Cole, (T-Rex, Felt), Hossam Ramzy (Led Zeppelin, Peter Gabriel) and more.
