Lyon is known for its silk weavers and historic buildings, and the town was listed in Unesco’s World Heritage List in 1998. Seven years later the band Poil was founded in Lyon. A band with three dedicated musicians. Antoine Arnera (Le Grand Sbam) of keyboards and vocals, Boris Cassone on bass and vocals, and Guilhem Meier (Ukandanz) on drums and vocals. Poil were formed as an experimental rock trio without any limitations, prohibitions, nor traditions, they’ve combined raw madness and virtuosity. They evoking thoughts of avantgarde-progressive basis like Frank Zappa, classic essence like Frederic Chopin or Igor Stravinsky, and theatrical approaches like Charlie Chaplin according to what they say.
