Hidden Lapse: Trapped in recursive routines
Hidden Lapse - Butterflies

Hidden Lapse hwill release the album Butterfliesin may, and it is an aggressive and melancholic female fronted power prog album. The Italian delivers an album with ethereal vocals, abrasive riffing and pounding drums. «We are all Butterflies» quotes the band, our lives spring into each other, too fast. This album puts us behind the eyes of eight unique anti-heroes and victims of our time, who don’t belong here though. Butterflies is all about being trapped in recursive routines and still in the outside». The track Dead Jester is the first video from Butterflies.
Hidden Lapse is a melodic metal project, touched by progressive and the most modern metal too. The band quotes. «We tell stories, too. We get inspiration from many different sources going from power-progressive to the alternative rock/metal scene. We’re born in 2011 as a duo project from the twisted minds of Marco Ricco and Romina Pantanetti , then expanded (after something like 4 years of tinkering, quitting and restarting) into a full band with Alessia Marchigiani and Luca Agostinelli in 2015. Later the drummer Agostinellii was replaced by Alessio Monacelli».
«Our first full length album was called Redemption and it’s both a fictionary and everyday tale about a nameless young woman facing tough choices and consequences, through a long inner journey. Curiously enough, the album’s intro is the very first song we wrote, when we didn’t even think about the concept itself».
