Corrosive: Pure death metal
Corrosive – Nourished By Blood

Marburg is one of Germany’s four major university towns. When the students want to hear metal music they can attend the concerts of Corrosive from Marburg. German death metallers Corrosive have published a lyric video for the track Field Of Corpses, which is taken off from the band’s third full-length Nourished By Blood.
Founded in 1994, Corrosive played in the early days a mix of death and trash metal, which was still kept quite simple. A fast development led after several live performances and first line changes in 1998 to the first demo in the form of the War and Carcass tapes. In 2002, the Kill Complete Demo CD followed. At that time, the style changed to pure death metal. All trash metal parts were banished from the music and more melodic parts found their way into the songs.
In 2006, the first CD Wrath Of The Ungod, which was recorded in 2004, was released on its own. Due to time constraints and the departure of two members from Marburg, the last gig was played in 2008 and Corrosive was put on ice. In the summer of 2010 came the first time the plan to rebuild Corrosive in original cast. In 2012, this plan was finally implemented. One year later the first gigs were played in original form. A special highlight was the first joint appearance at the Ragnarock Open Air.
It was followed by numerous other live shows and at the beginning of 2016 the EP Killing Room. In 2017, Corrosive recorded the album Lucifer Gave The Faith and signed a deal with the label Black Sunset.
