Sara Loera: With the modern approach of today’s conceptual writers
Sara Loera – The Undiscovered Country

The Undiscovered Country is an album from Sara Loera. The album is a progressive rock opera/concept based on an original story about an artificially intelligent android soldier who lives into the far future. Sara Loera have delivered a tasteful debut album with more than hints of classic prog direction of the 70s prog bands. Sara Loera is inspired by famous band like Yes, Kansas, Styx, Pink Floyd, Uriah Heep and lots of others as contemporary artist as Lana Lane. But most important she do it with mostly selfishness and smartness and with the modern approach of today’s conceptual writers. Not without flaws, but all in all a very promising artist. The highly progressive track To Be Or Not To Be,
The track Fifth Dimension have clear Ayreon vibes and is a nice and very powerful song with great melodies and memorable hooks.
Sara Loera was born in Anaheim, California and she showed talent in the world of music and dance at a young age. She played piano and flute as a child, and danced and sang throughout her youth, performing in musicals at Fullerton Junior College and dancing professionally in small productions around Los Angeles in her late teens. The track The War Will Saves Us has jazz drenched piano lines and the chorus is danceable but the song stick to the album`s sonic concept.
Sara Loera found early a passion for collecting rare 60’s vinyl, and worked as a DJ in some of the hippest clubs in L.A. for 3 years. She was deeply inspired by the music of the 60’s, and played in popular garage rock bands around Southern California, until scoring her first professional singing gig in Asia. Sara Loera toured around Asia for almost 2 years, gigging with different bands and soaking up the culture in China, Malaysia, and Indonesia. The track I Am Brace is about Brace the main character in the lyric. Brace is an artificially intelligent soldier living in the far future. The song is a nice quiet start on the album that showcase Sara Loera`s song and piano skills. The following songs are much more progressive then I Am Brace.
When she came back to the States, her vocal chops were primed and ready for pro level action. Sara Loera has been working full time as a live and session singer ever since. In 2015, she was featured on a track by an Australian DJ that reached number 6 on the Billboard Dance Chart. She sings live at clubs in Orange County and L.A. every weekend and is in high demand as a session singer, working with epic greats such as David Foster. Sara is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in voice, and hopes to teach in the music department at a university one day, so she can give back and inspire others about her favorite thing in the world- music!
