Ghost: Darker and heavier

Ghost states, «Ghost is the name of a devil worshipping ministry, that in order to spread its unholy gospels and, furthermore, trick mankind into believing the end is ultimately a good thing, have decided to use the ever so popular rock music medium as a way to achieve their ends».
Ghost must not be confused with the short-lived Swedish hard rock band from the 80s, also named Ghost, which featured Dan Swanö and Anders Måreby. Six years ago Ghost was forced to go under the moniker Ghost B.C. when being marketed in the US due to another band named Ghost demanding ownership for the title. They were able to overtly drop the B.C. in 2015, according to an interview with a member, although in those regions required, it still legally remains a part of their name. The Swedish heavy metal/rock band Ghost use of catchy 70s rock and their mysterious image has made them a popular band. Tobias Forge now says that he is willing to someone else taking over lead vocals in Ghost! Ghost leader Tobias Forge says he can see himself playing guitar with the band live while he leaves the lead vocals to someone else. Forge was speaking to Chicago radio station 101 WKQX when he mentioned that when he had the idea of creating Ghost, he envisioned himself as the main songwriter/guitarist who could provide backing vocals.
Forge reported in February that work had already begun work on the follow-up to 2018’s Prequelle, and last month said he was planning to make the new album darker and heavier.
