In Aevum Agere: With a personal touch
In Aevum Agere - Canto III

In Aevum Agere Project is a epic doom power metal trio from Napels in Italiy. The musicians are Bruno Masulli on guitars and vocal, Piersabato Gambino on bass and Claudio Del Monaco on drums. Seven years ago the debut full-length The Shadow Tower was released, and recently the sophomore album Canto III was finished. The title track Canto III,
In Aevum Agere was born fifteen years ago around Bruno Masulli from the underground metal bands Annihilationmancer & Power Beyond. The goal was to make classical doom metal inspired of Candlemass and Black Sabbath, but with a personal touch. They follow in the footsteps of the doom metal forefathers, but the founder/guitarist/vocalist, Bruno Masulli, is also a big fan of Chuck Schuldiner, which you can clearly hear in his guitar parts. Evil Chuck Schuldiner (born Charles Michael Schuldiner May 13, 1967 in New York, died December 13, 2001) was an American musician best known as the creator of the death metal band Death and a great inspiration for the genre. The track Voices Of My Solitude,
On Canto III this Italian trio pays tribute to the most important Italian poet, Dante Alighieri, and his magnum opus Divine Comedy. Focusing on the Inferno part, they’ve actually managed to capture the epicness of this poem really well, creating a perfect soundtrack to this imaginary journey through the circles of hell. There’s a good variety in these compositions, and the declamations in Italian add to the atmosphere. A powerful sounding album, with clean and strong vocals, memorable melodies and riffs.
