Lauxnos: Dawn, stars and moon
Lauxnos - Crushed By Waves

Lauxnos, an atmospheric post-metal project has been created and conducted by the musician under a pseudonym Katharos since 2013. Since 2016 the project has become a fully-fledged band. The word Lauxnos takes its origins of ancient Prussian which means dawn, stars and moon. After four years, the guys from the ocean project Lauxnos completed the long-awaited third full-length album Crushed By Waves, which includes nine tracks that are steadily changing their mood. The fresh album represents the apogee of the story set forth in the works of Lauxnos for all the years of its existence. Probably for fans of Falloch, Alcest, Harakiri For The Sky.
The basic concept of the group turned around the ocean and privacy, which he is able to give. The hardships of everyday life force to escape, transferred to the possession undulating waters. Entrusting their lives to Poseidon and his kingdom of oblivion, which may disturb a raging storm. Running from the world of human hopes to unravel the mystery of the deepest dark waters, and among them find peace, to find that he is all his life.
From the lyrics,
He was looking for happiness, having nothing at the same time, swimming through the water column, cutting through the riot of ocean waves, not fearing stormy expanses, realizing that thousands of miles beyond the horizon there was nothing… Every day breaking himself into countless fragments, that are doomed to coexist eternally in contradiction and in eternal struggle. By no means, his world is not twofold and triple now, but at night, under the cover of viscous darkness, the myriad of the brightest stars erased all the real facets, uniting in one form, driven by unknown force of nature, without the right to go back…
