Lukasz Gall Galeziowski formed in Kraków in Poland the band Fraumaro. Because of lack of success he invited some new musicians to start the band Millenium in the late 90`s. So far the result is 12 album and The Web is the thirteenth album from the Polish neoprog band Millenium and will be released at the end of this month. The current line-up, Łukasz Gall / vocals, Piotr Płonka / electric & acoustic guitars, Krzysztof Wyrwa / bass, Grzegorz Bauer / drums & percussion, Ryszard Kramarski / keyboards & acoustic guitars. Poland has a great tradition in absolutely nice-sounding neo/symph/modern progressive rock bands. Millenium is among the best neoprog band from Poland. Provisional there are no You Tube links from the new album, so the title track from 44 Minutes must be the replacement for that.
Millenium sang in their native language on their first and second albums, but later English vocals dominating. At the beginning there where an obvious Pendragon and Marillion vibes but slowly the band carved out their own special neoprog blend. There are also influences of older Polish bands like Collage (as you actually can here in every Polish neoprog band). The self-titled first album shows symphonic arrangements, even featuring some violin.
