The Norwegian gothic/romantic metal/rock band Heart Of Pandora is releasing their debut album A Girl In A World Of Wars October 25th.
The Norwegian 3-piece Heart Of Pandora was established in 2015. Catherine Nyland: Vocals, Pål Wasa Johansen: Drums, Hans Olav Kjeljebakken from Mortal Love: Bass. Involving Henning Ramseth as a producer and co-songwriter. A Girl In A World Of Wars have much darkness but contrasts with a shimmering lightness in place, which coupled with the sweet (almost bittersweet) vocals of Catherine Nyland and as a result there are plenty of emotions in the music. The first impression you get from Heart OF Pandora`s music is undoubtedly the singer Catherine Nyland and her special and very nice vocal. Well placed electronics and guitars build the foundation for dark, melancholic songs. Strong melodies and some pop-driven ear catching songs which combine light and dark melodies to create a special brand of melancholic songwriting, merged with dark lyrics.
