I Giardini Di Chernobyl is an Italian nu-metal band that was born in February 2014. They now comes back with the new album called Duel out on October 11th via Revalve Records.
In December 2014, they released their first single Un Infinito Inverno (An Infinite Winter), winter which will serve to introduce the band to the independent Italian music scene.
March 4, 2015 is the debut date of their first album Cella Zero for the Zeta Factory label. The band immediately arousing the interest of the press and industry, as well as the interest of Dennis Sanders. Sanders is a well-known American performer who was not only the bassist of Black Light Burns, solo project by Wes Borland, guitarist of Limp Bizkit. He was also a live supporter for bands like Deftones and Crosse. He is now engaged as front man of a new project, which he founded, which is called Spirit In The Room.
Dennis Sanders of the album Cella Zero said: «Great production. Nice heavy songs, with big guitars, Deftones style … They also remind me of the sounds of My Bloody Valentine and Helmet. Very nice».
In addition, Cristina Scabbia, the female voice of Lacuna Coil, said in a video interview, «to keep an eye on the band, calling it one of the most interesting of the new independent rock scene».
Simultaneously with the release of the album, comes the second single Noir accompanied by a video that quickly reaches numerous views, thus confirming the public’s interest in this new project that arrived in less than a year. To exceed the 80,000 views in its YouTube channel, in addition to the fact that it will lead the band on a tour that will see them live throughout the Italian territory. In the following months, 2 more singles and videos of the songs Homus and The Dark Desire Of Charly was published.
In October 2016 the band presents a new EP, entitled Magnetica, which is a collection of 5 tracks recorded between 2013 and 2014 by the singer and guitarist Emanuele Caporaletti, before the official formation of the band. Together with the EP, the video of the single Lago is released.
In December 2016 they are chosen by the editors of Classic Rock Italy, which assigns them the first place as the best emerging band of the month.
