Persephone’s Dream – Anomalous Propagation

The band Persephone`s Dream founded in Pittsburgh in Philadelphia and build off a friendship between Rowen Poole and Chris Siegle whose collaboration began in 1993/94. So far the band have released five album and the sixth Anomalous Propagation was released some weeks ago. The new album is the first release since their critically acclaimed album Pan: An Urban Pastoral from 2010. The American band has some great ideas and the music is probably another nice acquaintance for the prog people. The track Defenestrated,
2019 line-up is with the two founders of the band Siegle and Poole. Both the veterans handles the synths on the album, and that instrument play a vital part in the music. In addition Poole plays guitars while Siegle sticks to bass guitars. The other musicians are new. Heidi Engel is now on vocals, Jim Puskar on drums and percussion, Jason English on guitars and vocals, and Laura Martin on pianos and keys along with vocals. In fact a big make over according to the music staff! This is how the band gets a new expression, and Persephone’s Dream also offers as much as 74 minutes of music on the new album.
