The band Infrigment debut was Transition. That album contained a bunch of good songs, but also showed a band that might still be in the cast. Stylistically, they found themselves in the middle of a slightly funky rock band and symphonic rock and neoprog, with drips from a good deal of genres occasionally. The track Delerium,
On the new album Aliensism much have changed, and now the music have a clear neoprog direction. In addition Bård Thostensen is the new keyboard player. The band have matured and are better musicians than on the debut. The track Disorder starts with acoustic guitar and a peculiar piano effect. The music then becomes more and more symphonic with the presence of synths and suddenly a there are splendid progressive guitars before the nice vocals begin. Disorder are a varied song contrasted with harder and softer sections. In addition the song is well balanced with guitar and synth who interact exemplarily.
Infrigment is from Norways capital Oslo and was formed four years ago. Stig Andre Claison (guitar, vocals), Kristoffer Utby (drums, vocals), Hans Andreas Brandal (lead vocals), and Espen Larsen (bass). The 10:37 minutes long song Triad is pretty melodic and progressive with organ and guitar in front. Eventually suddenly the song become more intense, chaotic and faster. The song have lots of twist and turns and successful and partly surprising contrasting parts.
