Hyperia: Wailing vocals and shredding guitars
Hyperia - Insanitorium

Canadian thrash metal/death metal group Hyperia have released the first single taken from their forthcoming album Insanitorium. The track is called Asylum and comes accompanied with a new official video.
The group stats, «Asylum is one of the more story-based tracks off the album, and in a way it’s the unofficial title track for Insanitorium. It captures the entire concept of the album and along with the video illustrates the whole dark and isolated vibe Hyperia are aiming to portray».
Hyperia are known for their wailing vocals, shredding guitars and fast, heavy music. Formed by Colin Ryley and Marlee Ryley in September 2018, they found 3 members from the metal community and hit the ground running. With the release of their debut EP Fish Creek Frenzy, Hyperia has been thrashing venues and have been taking the metal community by storm. The track Dystopia,
Colin and Marlee Ryley are former members of short lived folk metal band Loremaster and long lived melodic death metal and Skymir. Jordan Maguire is a past member of black/death metal band Pecado. David Kupisz and Scott DeGruyter are both long time members of the local music scene in Calgary.
