Progressive rock act The Oneira has signed a worldwide record deal with Rockshots Records for the release of its third album Injection, coming out in early 2020 through the Italian label.
Led by the Greek multi-instrumentalist Filippos Gougoumis The Oneira is a multi-cultural project across Greece, Italy and Germany. The word means dream in Greek, to symbolize the willpower of flying across the universe with music. The track Still Free To Choose the band comment, «This song it’s our statement, in these gloomy days we are lucky (not everyone, unfortunately) to have free will to be good or bad, time is the only witness».
Following-up the highly acclaimed albums Natural Prestige (2011) and Hyperconscious (2014), Injection marks a further step towards a more mature and complex sound. Produced and arranged by Filippos Gougoumis and Oliver Philipps (Everon, Delain) and mixed by Christian Moss, the album is an homage that visionary Filippos Gougoumis pays to positive vibes, authentic anchor against fear and sorrow.

Italy band The Oneira was formed in 2010, and is the creative vehicle of composer and guitarist Filippos Gougoumis. He had musically interested from a young age, it was in 2010 that he got the time to pursue his musical ideas following his final degree in Medicine. And as his ideas developed, it was time to form a band so that these could be recorded for posterity and hopefully also make an artistic and commercial impact by fellow musicians and fans alike.
Due to that he hooked up with drummer Erik Spedicato and keyboardist Giampolo Banjo Begnini, both of them professional musicians, and The Oneira was born. One year later the threesome had their debut effort ready, entitled Natural Prestige, and released it through French label Musea Records.
