Jahn Teigen is dead at the age of 70 years.
Teigen has a long career in music, and co-founded the Norwegian prog band Popol Vuh in 1972. That band had the same name as German Popol Vuh, and therefore changed to Popol Ace. Popol Vuh/Popol Ace released 4 album including the very good album Stolen From Time in 1976.
Jahn Teigen was at one point relevant to the vacant job after Peter Gabriel in Genesis but Teigen wanted to continue in Popol Ace.
After his prog adventure Teigen turned to more commercial music and was part of 14 Norwegian Grand Prix finals. He also became famous for being the first artist to receive zero points in the international Gran Prix final.
Jahn Teigen has actually released more than 40 albums and more than 60 singles.
