Kulde: Bouncy downtuned metal…..
Kulde – Planet:lost

Kulde (Cold) is a new and pretty fascinating Norwegian metal band. Reasonably enough, they do not adhere to a specific genre of metal, and with such attitudes, often creating dynamic and good music. The band calls their music “bouncy downtuned metal out of Trondheim!” Planet:lost is the debut album from the quartet, Vegard Lillesand – Vocal, Sveinung Karlsen – Guitar, Daniel Benberg – Bass and Torgeir Aambø – Drums.
The title song theme deals with how humanity is destroying itself somewhat to those degrees, and putting likes over compassion. A pervasive theme in the lyric is the inner struggle against the voices in the back of your mind, as well as the separation between those who want you well or and those not interested in your wellbeing.
The album cover was created by Bassist Daniel Benberg, which was made reasonably spontaneously when they sat and brainstormed ideas, Benberg drew just two circles and started, and then it went quite naturally when they already had album names ready.
Kulde started as a project between Sveinung Karlsen and producer Roar Nubdal, which quickly went from being a fun side-project to becoming a full band. The band consists of established musicians from various Trondheim bands such as Aphzelia, Starvation and Killtek. As previously mentioned, Kulde is not adhere into a specific metal genre and the background of the different musicians contributes to a very creative process.
The lyrics on the album is divided between Sveinung Karlsen, Roar Nubdal and Vegard Lillesand. The future plans for the band is to stay productivity, play a lot of concerts, and contributing into and making the Norwegian metal scene even bigger and better than it already is. As of now, it is not possible to live off the band, and all musicians have civilian jobs.
