D Aphelium: With intricately woven riffs
D Aphelium - Om Dygden Och Plikten

D Aphelium album Profetian Om Dygden Och Plikten, out March 13th 2020. The perfect balance of extremity, melody, and cohesion, this is Swedish Melodic Black Metal with a true 90’s Black Metal feel. The album features beautifully haunting melodies, intricately woven riffs, and an atmosphere that conveys a true sense of hopeful desolation.
Profetian Om Dygden Och Plikten is the second album from Swedish one-man band, of mournful, depressive symphonic black metal, that will appeal to old-school Dimmu Borgir lovers as much as fans of the Melancholic Black Metal of Rafn’s bands, and sheer Depressive Black Metal like Make A Change or Happy Days.
The story of D Aphelium began winter 2015/2016 when Daniel Seestrand picked up music after some years moving from town to town looking for the perfect spot to settle down. Instantly a couple of songs were made and the plan to get it released took form.
The music could be described as Scandinavian Black Metal similar to the era in the mid 90ties. Not surprisingly since Daniel Seestrand was active in the scene back in those days. All music is written and performed on historical soil at a lonely place on a Swedish island. Gotland. The band D Aphelium was never created from anything else than pure emotions and with a dynamic music D Aphelium for sure brings emotions to surface and gives wisdom to the listener.
