Opus Symbiosis - Fata Morgana

Eight years ago Opus Symbiosos released their second album Natur`s Choir, and now finally their effort Fata Morgana is close to be released. The track Red Light In The Sky Traffic,
Opus Symbiosis was formed in 2003 in a small village near Jakobstad/Pietarsaari. At that time the band consisted of Christine Sten, Victor Sågfors, Jafet Kackur, Michael Rosenback and Roger Edström. Now seventeen years later the three first is still with the band and Daniel Hjerppe is the fourth musician in the quartet.
Opus Symbiosis started as a band consisting of curious teenagers wanting to create something different and explore the world of musical genres. The young members managed to create a musical style which is a modern version of Progressive Rock with female lead vocals. Opus Symbiosis are influenced mainly by Progressive Rock but has also a touch of Indie Pop, Ambient and Psychedelic Rock to it. According to many reviews their music has been compared to The Mars Volta, Muse, Mew, Porcupine Tree, Radiohead and Rush etc. Christine Sten’s voice has been compared with Anneke Van Giersbergen.
