Cyanide Paradise: In a raw, post-apocalyptic world…..
Cyanide Paradise - Downfalll

Cyanide Paradise is a Melodic Death Metal band from The Netherlands, aiming to tell their variety of stories through powerful melody-driven songs. They distinguish themselves by their full, epic sound while maintaining a broad diversity within their songs.
Yesterday the 10th of April 2020, Dutch Melodic Death Metal-band Cyanide Paradise will release the lyric video for their new single Downfall. This single is the successor to their debut EP Reach For The Stars from 2019.
The band states, «The song Downfall tells of the inner conflict of a person trying to be as good and helpful as possible, but who is confronted with the harsh reality of living and surviving in a raw, post-apocalyptic world. In this way, the single ties in seamlessly, both thematically and musically, with the band’s 2019 debut EP Reach For The Stars, which was hailed for its unique, yet distinctly melodic death metal sound by several reviewers».
For this single Cyanide Paradise has collaborated with Yarne Heylen at Project Zero Studio, known as the bassist for death metal band Carnation. This has given the production quality of Downfall a nice boost!
Cyanide Paradise is a Melodic Death Metal and from The Netherlands. Inspired by bands like Amon Amarth, Devin Townsend, Scar Symmetry and Mors Principium Est. Cyanide Paradise was formed in 2019 by Martin Vos and Jeff Wennekes who, after having played together in Desolace Divine and Veil Of Delusions, decided to focus on writing music together. This turned out to be a very productive endeavor, even more so when Linn found her way into the band. It wouldn’t be long before this new cooperation resulted in the release of their first EP: Reach For The Stars!
Downfall is the beginning for this brand new band however, as they’re already working full steam on the creation of their next EP! Moreover, with their line-up now complete, Cyanide Paradise plan to take the stage by storm sooner rather than later with a very successful first live performance now and more on the way later this year!
