The band’s new album Synnaesthesia is out on May 1, 2020. Produced, engineered and mixed by Forrester Savell (Sikth, Karnivool, SkyHarbor, Animals As Leaders, Shihad) the recording is a sprawling cinematic experience, equal parts heavy and lush. Different flavors emerging with the newer tracks as the band have grown and begun writing together, touring across Australia and New Zealand, as well as collectively sharing stages with bands including Deftones, Devin Townsend, Meshuggah, Slipknot, Architects, Machine Head, Bring Me The Horizon, Stone Sour, Suicidal Tendencies, Sublime, Monuments, Skyharbor and many more.
The credentials are strong in this band going back over 20 years in the Auckland hardcore, post hardcore, prog and metal scenes. However, arriving at a new more mature sound, deeper influences and a crystallized vision of what to bring to the world they’ve set themselves firmly apart from their previous exploits.
All lining up perfectly for an album on May 1st 2020, Synaesthesia has had 6 of the 15 songs released to a rapidly growing fan base, rotation on the biggest rock radio station in the country The Rock FM, Triple J In Oz, as well as one of the videos for Water winning best music video at The International Film Festival North Hollywood.
