Inlandsys offers a melodeath sound with powerful keyboards enhanced by black metal vocals that will conquer fans of Ensiferum or Amon Amarth. Carthago is Inlandsys very good debut album, and luckily we can expect a new album this year probably. Exciting!
Founded in 2011, Inlandsys is an innovative blend of Scandinavian death and black metal. For fans of Dark Tranquility, Edge Of Sanity or Amon Amarth. Between 2018 and 2019 Inlandsys worked to travel France and Spain to play their black death music wherever it’s possible to do. In 2020, with all band members strongly motivated to go further, they began to work on new compositions.
The debut album Carthago was released on March 2018. Mixed by David Potvin of Dôme Studio (Lyzanxia, Phaze One, Tank, Kronos, One Way Mirror, etc… ) it assembles what had already been experimented on the 2013’s demo: old-school-death guitar riffs that contrast with moods and melodies worn by the keyboards.
Line-up: Laurent Houis – Guitar & Vocals , Baptiste Togores – Guitar & Vocals, Yann Gilly – Bass & Vocals, Antonin Calvet – Keyboards and Chris Perrot-Minot – Drums.
