Vyrion: Successfully crafted a distinct and powerful Black Metal vision…..
Vyrion - Nil

Vyrion, a four-piece Black Metal unit from Brisbane Australia, formed in 2007 with the vision to create distinctive, aggressive, progressive extreme metal – as furious as it is nuanced. Nil is their third album and a concept album telling the stories of civilizations, from the cradle to their eradication by disease, Nil takes all prisoners on a vivid journey, basking in the glory of our war-mongering past and looking eagerly towards our decrepit future.
Just recently, Vyrion unleashed a new track titled Avalanche via Decibel Magazine, who commented «Vyrion roll out an armored and weaponized type of black metal attack. For eight tracks straight and unrelenting therein, these Australians shred a remarkably heavy and intelligently composed style of aural violence». The Bandcamp track Avalanche.
To create a unique and individual sound, whilst being instantly recognizable, is an achievement that few bands can claim to have accomplished. Vyrion is one of these bands. A four-piece unit from Brisbane, Australia, they have successfully crafted a distinct and powerful Black Metal vision. Their self-titled debut album is a monumental assault on the soul, a burning opus of fury, despair and hate that has received an overwhelming response from the worldwide metal community. The Bandcamp track Monumentum.
In 2012 and beyond, Vyrion will continue to push outwards, with their inimitable sound and fierce live show earning the band an increasing level of recognition and praise with each moment of exposure. Six years following the release of their second studio effort Geo, Brisbane-based black-metal troop Vyrion are back with a new album titled Nil, which is set for release on October 26.
