The Self-Aware Frequency many genres is represented and combined and there are elements of prog, film score, heavy metal, industrial, electronic, rock, pop and classical music. Combining so much can easily be embarrassing to listen to, but here Aasli, Rosenberg and Râhoola succeed in making an incredibly exciting music that the listener just wants to hear over and over again! The music is engaging and challenging and follows in the footsteps of other music innovators such as Devil Doll, Sleeepytime Gorilla Museum, Devin Townsend etc. Vitam Aeternam sounds fresh and are never boring and distinctiveness and the composition is well-crafted and creative.
