Dark Awake Album - Hekateion
Dark Awake is a Martial Industrial / Neoclassical / Neofolk / Ritual / Dark Ambient act from Greece and formed in 2002 by Shelmerdine to express his philosophy and magical experiences. The line-up is completed by Sekte (female vocals). Their music is inspired by occult subjects and has a strong philosophical and alchemist context.
Dark Awake stands opposed to the cold sterility of today’s modern world and promotes the ancient mysteries and heathen-spirit, aiming to rekindle those ancient values. Hekateion is an exquisite album – which is based upon the ancient goddess of witchcraft Hecate. Presented in 4 tracks which are written as an accompaniment to an esoteric ritual and dark ambient expression to Hecate.
