Darragh - Traveler
Schwerin is the capital of the German state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Schewerin is a beautiful town located on the southwest bank of the Schweriner See. Perhaps inspired by this landscape, the prog band Darragh creates a unique prog. Darragh is the old Irish word for Old Oak, and the band Darragh is what we could call a super group from Nothern Germany.
The band mixes the refinements of progressive rock and the elegance of modernity in a creative way and sends the soul on a journey into the deepest core. The band founder Florian Kunde had a musical vision to free the mind from old patterns and free bad thoughts. The Darragh project was born five years ago and Florian Kunde recorded, recorded, mixed and mastered a demo album on his own. Christian Eggers, his best friend, immediately recognized the expressiveness of the music. A vision was created and the decision was made to record the album again and to pack the atmosphere in it even more detailed and intense into the music. Friend and studio owner Ronny Nolpa then became the band’s bass player, made his studio available for the entire creation process of 4 years. The result is the album Traveler.
