Systemhouse33: With Lake Of Sorrow…..

Systemhouse33 – End Of Day

Indian heavy metal band Systemhouse33 has released the official video of their track Lake Of Sorrow from the band’s End Of Days album.

Putting the current state of events in perspective and to commemorate 1 year since the band successfully toured the USA with Soulfly and days before the world went into lockdown mode in 2020, the video is homage to the pre-covid era.

Lyrics:

Locked in chains of fire

Fiery lake of burning sulfur

Wicked go down now in the realm of the dead

Facing utter moral

Wickedness all around

Trapped

Everlasting destruction

Chains of brutal darkness

In the lake of sorrow

Weeping and gnashing

In the lake of sorrow

Death and deceived

In the lake of Sorrow

No moral conscience

In the lake of sorrow

Lake of Sorrow

Smooth talking sadist

Spinning lies as truth

Backstabbing to push ahead

Your demons in control of you!

Like a viper to the farmer

You poisoned your life away

Betrayal  through your veins

Doomed to flames of death

Look at yourself

Imprisoned in your delusion

Look at yourself

Your troubled and distressed

Look at yourself

Sold your soul for a penny

And now there’s no turning back

The reaper waits at your door

It’s time to pay for the evil you sowed

No escaping the nightmare ahead

Your engulfed by the hate

You shut the light to set you free

Rotten to the core, decayed mind

Pride caused your mighty downfall

Is it too late to repent of your ways?

Systemhouse33 frontman Samron Jude comments, «This past year has disrupted the very thread of our existence with most of us spending months locked within the confines of borders and homes, even though we’re at the heights of technological advancement, this has affected us in different ways leaving us with memories of ‘better times’ and hanging on to survival mode. When we wrote this song in 2019, little did we realize that we would be in a loop of uncertainty, suffering and frustration; this is the Lake of Sorrow! ».

He adds, «We are all in this together but it’s time to rebuild and learn from the pre-covid era, a time when everyone was feasting, and making plans for the future before the realization dawned that there was no escaping the nightmare ahead».

Lake Of Sorrow is from Systemhouse33’s album End Of Days released in 2019 and also features tracks inspired by the book of Revelation and the end time prophecy. The band was among a handful of bands to have successfully completed touring early 2020 before the pandemic struck.

SystemHouse33 has been working on new material during the lockdowns and expect to launch a new album in the months ahead.

Slikt krydderet finner man blant annet i musikk.
