Single Celled Organism: With classic lessons at the age of 7…..
Single Celled Organism - Percipio Ergo Sum

At the age of 7 Jens Lueck took classical piano lessons. Later he also discovered pop-, jazz- and rock music. By coincidence he ended up playing the drums. After graduation he moved to Hamburg where he additionally received the education to be an audio engineer. He worked as producer/ engineer/ composer and musician. Single Celled Organism is the return to his roots which lie in progressive/ art rock. Lueck is familiar with pop, jazz, or rock, from Abba, Pat Metheny, to APP, Eloy, Supertramp, especially 70s progressive/art rock scene like Camel, Pink Floyd or Genesis.
In 2017 Lueck and his Single Cell Organism released the very fine debut album Splinter In The Eye. Some daya ago came the sophomore album Percipio Ergo Sum. Jens Lueck talks about the new Single Cell Organism album and about story, content and other things.
For his brainchild, Jens invited his partner/companion Isgaard Marke, and completed to create material for his debut album in collaboration with his old music friends/musicians like Ingo Salzmann (guitars), Jan Petersen (guitars, ex-Sylvan), Dieter Koch (acoustic guitar), Volker Kuinke (recorder), Katja Flintsch (violin, viola), or Annika Stolze (violoncello).
