Sons On Fire: Always striving to push the boundaries of music…..
Sons On Fire – Just A Man

The track Just A Man from the hard rock band Sons On Fire and from its album Faded.
I have seen the best of you
You’d cut me down again if I’d fallen
I have been the victim too
But now that’s over
I’ve always worn my heart on my sleeve
Don’t like it then why keep hiding the truth
Nothing here worth fighting for, now I’ll open the doors
I can’t wait for the moment that I’m through with you
Lies have been the best from you
Look at me and tell me you love me
I can’t help but feel the truth
But now that’s over
I’ve always worn my heart on my sleeve
Don’t like it then why keep hiding the truth
Nothing here worth fighting for, now I’ll open the doors
I can’t wait for the moment that I’m through with you
I’ve always worn my heart on my sleeve
Don’t like it then why keep hiding the truth
Nothing here worth fighting for, now I’ll open the doors
I can’t wait for the moment that I’m through with you
Exploding onto today’s national hard rock scene Sons On Fire rose out of the ashes of former successful San Diego, CA acts One Theory, Southern Reign and Kicking K8. Always striving to push the boundaries of music, the story of SOF began in 2006 with Kicking K8. Following the lead of heavy hitters and friends In This Moment and Hollywood Undead, KK8 utilized the Myspace platform to relentlessly self-promote their music across the U.S. which led to them to signing with Crash Music/EMI (now Pavement Entertainment). After a great debut record in 2009/2010 and countless shows with such amazing acts as Disturbed, Godsmack, Stone Sour, Three Days Grace, Staind, Sevendust and Seether, the band went on hiatus…which at the time…appeared to be set in stone.
Flash forward to San Diego in late 2019…. Bill, Chuck, and Johnny from Kicking K8 re-emerged with Darren on vocals and Trevor on guitar to form Sons On Fire. Fueled by uniquely diverse musicians with influences ranging from Lynyrd Skynyrd, Metallica and everything in between, SOF has created music made for the masses and set to take the world by storm. Once again catching the attention of Pavement Entertainment and joining a stable of great artists including Puddle Of Mudd, Candlebox, Tantric, Soil and (HED) P.E., Sons on Fire has inked a new deal that features the release of their debut EP and single Faded.
Sons On Fire is:
Chuck Bouchonnet – Guitar
