The Watch: With huge and three years long composing process…..
The Watch - The Art Of Bleeding

The Watch is a very talented Italian band playing old-Genesis style. Originally called The Night Watch, the band changed their name to The Watch in 1999 after having released an album under that name. So far the band have released seven albums and The Art Of Bleeding is the eight due out September 24.
After a huge and three years long composing process, for the first time, The Watch has ventured into the world of the concept album! Five stories that revolve around the idea of cathartic violence. A musical theme developed in various ways to create different atmospheres.

Simone Rossetti, the charismatic front man of The Night Watch, continues his impressive work in the new band The Watch, but he’s the only connection between the two bands. The Night Watch also was featured with one song on The Reading Room (2000) album and then they quit. Simone Rossetti is a great vocalist/flautist and his voice is very similar to Peter Gabriel and so the sound on the new album is again like early Genesis. There are some reminiscences to Marillion, Spock`s Beard and Änglagård too.
Line-up:
Simone Rossetti: vocals, mellotron, synthesizers, flute
