Omie Wise: With a blend of heavy, psychedelic, folk and progressive rock!
Omie Wise - Wind And Blue

Omie Wise are an art-rock/folk band from Braga, Portugal, and Wind And Blue is their sophomore album.
The band is an eclectic prog band founded in 2016 by founders Fábio Pinto (guitars) and Rui Brito (guitars, braguesa). The band was conceived in 2014 from an idea to produce progressive music that was reflective of the 1970’s. Once the founders recruited Miguel Santos (vocals), Eduardo Peixoto De Almeido (piano, mellotron, organ, synths), João Machado (bass), and José Martiins (drums), the band was born.
Their music is an exciting blend of heavy, psychedelic, folk and progressive rock that combines to produce an intriguing style that definitely echoes progressive music from the 70’s. They released their first EP 1808 in 2017 and their first full length album To Know Thyself in 2019.
Their music will appeal to fans of Black Bombain, Zopp, Bill Brufords Eartwork, Deep Purple, Uraih Heep, and King Crimson.
