Vilú: Greetings from Chile!.
Vilú - Üden Vilú

Today we travel to the beautiful country Chile and visit the death thrash metal band Vilú.
First single Victims Of Life from the debut album Üden Vilú and the band is from Chile and their name is Vilú. Video lyrics made by Fernando Naranjo Realizador Audiovisual. Serpent Productions. Label: Umbrium Rec. Photography: Sebastián Domínguez Mastering and mixing: Ripo Iturra Art : Shaggy Art. Designer and Diagrammer: Pablo Cifuentes.
Jesus Letelier states about the song and the band, «Congratulations and keep up the good work, you have a lot of talent and you will go very far!».
We asked the bassist and founder of the band Karina Ugarta about some information about the album and the band and she did a great job!
«The lyrics of this single are about those people who are victimized and see that their hearts, ghosts, people are the culprits of their pseudo misfortune or are objects of non-existent envy. The general concept of the album is based on an amalgam of experiences and concepts that encompass the minds of human beings, psychological and social».
«We take the death thrash metal style for our youth influences, although we also have several passages in different themes of some black metal. The Chilean scene in terms of metal is very powerful and varied, many great bands locally and others that are already better known internationally, the bangers are very active and participatory attending and in the moshpit».
«Perhaps being a band where 75% of its members are women gives them a certain novel touch in a musical style where until a few years ago the bands were almost entirely made up of men here in Chile at least it was like that, currently little by little more feminine presence has appeared in the metal scene. And because our proposal is also musically attractive, that’s what bangers always tell us. As influences we have bands like Kreator, Sepultura, Carcass, Death, Morbid Angel, Arch Enemy, Behemoth, among others».
«Plans for the future with the band is to continue promoting our first album locally and why not internationally, and start working on new compositions thinking about the second album. The most important thing about music for me is that I managed to make you feel, that there is a connection both in its melodies and in its lyrics, that it transmits something. The music that attracts neither my bandmates nor me is reggaeton».
«Ulf we laughed a lot together, we made jokes and in a mini tour that we had in some cities in southern Chile we sang Christian songs making fun of course in the backstage at the top of the page, they all laughed about that hahahaha».
