David Minasian: Managed to bring the icons of progressive rock together…

David Minasian - Random Dreams: The Very Best of David Minasian Volume

David Minasian releases his new album Random Dreams: The Very Best of David Minasian Volume One’on 26th November, out on Golden Robot Records.

It doesn’t happen very often… the stars align and the perfect album becomes a reality. Such is the case with Random Dreams: The Very Best of David Minasian Volume One. David has managed to bring the icons of progressive rock together on a unique musical journey that touches the heart, mind and soul like nothing ever has. Where else can you experience the collective creative genius of Justin Hayward (The Moody Blues), Steve Hackett (Genesis), Andrew Latimer (Camel), Annie Haslam (Renaissance) and Billy Sherwood (Yes) all in one place?

David has recently released 2 remixed double-A side singles – Room With Dark Corners and Summer’s End and The Sound Of Dreams and Masquerade. It gives fans an insight as to what to expect.

Fans of David’s are well aware of his penchant to be able to write some of the most powerfully beautiful melodies around by combining his classical background with a love for symphonic rock. Fusing those melodies together with the contributions of the aforementioned legends has created a sonic tour-de-force unlike any other

While it may seem strange for an artist to put out a best of collection featuring tracks from only his last two albums, the result has been nothing short of sublime. Following last year’s successful release of David’s latest album The Sound of Dreams, along with the re-release of his 2010 masterpiece Random Acts of Beauty, fans began clamouring for a foray into vinyl.  The track Masquerade (feat. Andrew Latimer) (Remix 2021)

It was Golden Robot Records’ Founder and President Mark Alexander-Erber that came up with the unique idea for David to release remixed versions of his best loved tracks with side one devoted to Random Acts of Beauty and side two to The Sound of Dreams. In addition to the vinyl release, Golden Robot Records is also proud to announce there will be a greatly expanded digital release, complete with alternate versions and a bonus track to accommodate David’s sometimes extended length compositions.

Random Dreams: The Very Best of David Minasian Volume One will hit the streets on November 26th 2021, both digitally and on vinyl.

David Minasian is a keyboardist, vocalist, composer and producer who began classical piano training at the age of five. His critically acclaimed 2010 album Random Acts of Beauty became one of the biggest progressive rock releases of the year and featured a rare guest appearance by legendary guitarist Andrew Latimer of the English progressive rock band Camel.

David is also a motion picture producer, director and writer with over 150 credits to his name. He has worked alongside some of Hollywood’s elites including Academy Award winners Mel Gibson and Martin Landau, as well as many musical icons including Elton John, The Moody Blues, Alan Parsons, Kris Kristofferson and Three Dog Night.

David’s long awaited follow up album, The Sound of Dreams, enlisted a virtual who’s who of legendary musicians including Moody Blues guitarist/vocalist Justin Hayward, Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett, Renaissance vocalist Annie Haslam, Yes bassist Billy Sherwood, Alan Parsons lead vocalist PJ Olsson, Moody Blues live vocalist Julie Ragins and Pentagram founding member drummer/guitarist Geof O’Keefe

Slikt krydderet finner man blant annet i musikk.
