Dante: With long awaited and longed for 5th studio album.
Dante – Winter

Says, «Dante gives us the opportunity to just make and play music that´s as complex, heavy and progressive as it wants to be. It´s the kind of music that we´d like to hear ourselves. Influenced by many classic and modern progressive bands, Dante is about heavy riffing and intimate moments, epic songstructures and lyrical elements, spheric sounds and complex arrangements: Dante is heavy lyrical progressive rock».
Dante was founded in late 2006 and have released four albums to date. After the well noticed debut The Inner Circle (2008), the now classic 2010 follow up album Saturnine (ProgRock Records) and their 2013 release November Red (Massacre Records), the band released their 4th and most successful album so far in 2016 with When We Were Beautiful, joining forces with well known German label Gentle Art Of Music. Every album so far easily sold a four-digit number of copies.
Dante produce all their albums and have increased their fan base through continuous and convincing live performances over the years. Just the last two years saw the band playing dozens of concerts inside and outside of Germany (Czech Republic, Poland…). The band was a support act for the Wacken Road Show and also supported well known artists such as Pendragon, Copia, Lacrimas Profundere or Subsignal. Besides that, DANTE also played successfull club shows as well as Festivals and Open Airs.
Dante released their very first Live DVD Where Life Was Beautiful – Live In Katowice in April 2017 (via Gentle Art Of Music), recorded at the marvelous Teatr Slaski in Katowice, Poland.
After touring quite a bit in 2017 and early 2018 in support of this release, Dante started writing material for their next studio album. The album was recorded late 2019 / early 2020 and was supposed to be released that same year, but the band decided to postpone the release to 2022 due to the pandemic.
Finally, 2022 sees the release of Winter, the long awaited and longed for 5th studio album by Dante.
