Lunear: Respect the original spirit of the songs as well as giving them a new life!
Lunear - Gostraks

Lunear is a pop/progressive French band who already released 2 Albums: Many Miles Away (2018) and Curve.Axis.Symmetry. (2020). Before working on new songs, during lockdown they began working on a cover album. But not just anNormal cover album. An album who would be presented as if the songs where all written by the same band, for this precise moment, and linked together as if it was a concept album. The objective was to respect the original spirit of the songs as well as giving them a new life.
The choice of songs is eclectic and represent the large scope every member of the trio has when it comes to music. Also, for this album, all three members share vocals. This is a cover record but a Lunear release too.
2 years later that record sees the day. It will be available on June 1st worldwide in any streaming platforms and in a limited cd edition. The cover album cover Marillion, Genesis, and many more, but they done it with a different and original approach.

In the 60’s, prog was established as a new genre. The idea was that pop should receive an upgrade with more advanced and complex music and with well thought out lyrics. When bands today appear that mix prog and pop, some people don’t like it. But why not if it sounds good. The band Lunears is from France and mixes prog with some pop injections. The line-up is Jean Philippe Benadjer :Guitars / Bass / Vocals, Sebastien Bournier :Drums / Vocals and Paul J. No :Keyboards / Lead Vocals. Cover of Toto`s Take My Hand,
.Some of Lunear music is sometimes straightforward like pop-rock meets progressive. But it’s still very progressive.
