Soledad: Music healer & hope dealer since 2016.
Soledad – XIII

Soledad is Spanish for solitude, but also a band name of a young and very talented band. In fact there are many very good French band across a wide range of genres. Soledad is a very, very exciting band and started as the solo project of Lola Damblant-Soler. The solo project started in 2016 and grew into a four–piece band eventually.
XIII is the new album from this band and are supported by Suzie Lou, Hassan Hajdi and Jeremy Bares on one track each. The album showcase a matured band and even better music compared to the debut album. The music is labeled as prog metal but in the softer segment of the genre. Some similarity of Queen from time to time in the quiet parts merging into more heavy passages. I also enjoy the guitar solos and piano parts. Check out this band, and you would probably be surprised.
The album closer have a fair amount of twist and turns and is a worthy closing of a splendid album.
