Translated the band name Orkan is Hurricane and don’t`f fancy Hurricane, but the band Orkan I really enjoy.

Orkan have a new album entitled Livsgaranti , Life Guarantee. Livsgaranti was part of the self-titled debut album release party in 2017 and premiered on the release party. Many bands experience that the recording process take longer time than expected. Suddenly a beautiful day the title song was finished and eventually the seven other songs were chosen with care and love.

Orkan’s reminder that everyone deserves a dignified life without the constant struggle against the patriarchal structure of society, and that every life should be safe without fear of the carelessness of humanity.

Livsgaranti is influenced the golden days of prog and the harmony and guitar sound is delicate and beatutful in all the analog splendor. The album is entirely recorded, mixed and mastered all analogue. Still this album isn’t written in nostalgia, it’s right in time.
