Some of my grandchildren have dolls, but they are no horror dolls. Horror Dolls is a gothic horror inspired solo project and their new single is suitable enough entitled Ghost Waltz taken from the EP Sacrifice. The solo project by Laura Inferno Vargas is from Chile but have relocated to Canada. Gothic horror inspired The Horror Doll has unveiled a teaser for the new video Ghost Waltz. «This is a dark love song. Of an immortal soul trapped in an old theatre that has become her fortress. She dances day and night to gain the strengths she needs to be whole again as she is the only one who can help her. She knows what love is but because she’s been forgotten, she cannot feel it anymore. Like when Dracula falls in love with Mina. The Inferno Doll began as a solo project in 2013 by singer & songwriter Laura Inferno Vargas, releasing the debut album Dollmination in 2015. Originally from Chile, and previously the frontwoman of Sacramento, Laura moved to Calgary, Canada in 2016. Fascinated with Gothic literature, horror and the theatrical, the Iferno Doll`s, music draws heavily on concepts, narratives and imagery from classic works such as Bram Stoker’s Dracula and Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. The Inferno Doll beautifully conveys emotions of toil and sorrow with an eerie twist.
