Promises is the new album by Floating Points and Pharoah Sanders, featuring the London Symphony Orchestra and artwork by Julie Mehretu.
Inshele states on Bandcamp; «Sitting in my yard contemplating about questions without answers, reading a book written by a heavy mind. I played this album instead of Bach. Turned it down so that I could hear the birds and rustling leaves. The music brought me so much peace that I have to think this is what it was made for, this context, this moment. Abstract art, without a form or a story, says everything that a listener can or wants to imagine. So the story changes for each listener, but I heard my Promises that day».
