Erasy: Drinking created the ideas

Feira De Santana is the second largest city in the state of Bahia and has a number of industrial companies. In addition, there are many bands in the city, including Erasy. The band is a doom, stoner, sludge band. The idea for Erasy came out when the musicians were drinking a couple of years ago, talking about the biggest band on earth: Black Sabbath. They are longtime friends, and are involved in other musical projects, individually, but never did something on this line. They thought, hell, we can do it! And then the whole thing started. Since 2012 they are playing slow music.

Under The Moonlight is Brazil’s Erasy debut full-length on the international market. Presenting a couple of tracks, this is a release aimed for those who appreciate heavy and slow independent music. Recorded in a very spontaneous way, the songs began to appear during the rehearsals. Some kind of structure, or pattern, came to life as the band conducted these sessions. During this process, the lyrical concept was also brought to life, and the main idea was to explore the images of the magical atmosphere from the old days: forgotten now, but very inspiring for those who once tried to find the mysteries behind our meaningless lives.
