From Clermont Ferrand, France comes the band Zwoyld. The band is a multi-dimensional musical monster – born in France in 2012 in a cave under volcanoes – who likes to make esoteric notes on numeric rhythms. Recently they released their new album Zgond.

Their progressive rock sounds closer to early seventies’ more experimental units than today’s overproduced ones. It’s a fun album full of drive and with scarce use of vocals, relegating them to only a single track.

I know if I’m going to love an album if the first and last tracks grab my attention immediately. This entire album had me hooked on a single listen. talent…so much musical talent! Favorite track: StarShoo.
