C Average: Something new each spin!

C Average has for over two decades delivered their sonic onslaught of medieval riffs and crazed pounding drums. They started as a two-piece band with Brad Balsley and Jon Merithew. Now they’ve been smart enough have reinforced with the addition of Olivia Love on lead vocals and John Boyce on bass. Creating a larger canvas and a more magnificently and elaborately illustrated soundscape, C Average embark on a voyage through the stars and beyond. Passage requires only a willingness to unlock your imagination. Their third offering III is soon to be released.

To simply call III a Space Rock Opera would be a disservice. With methodical and refined songwriting, C Average compose a dynamic body of music that leaves the listener discovering something new with each spin. Like a secret scroll, hidden messages are decoded and deciphered.

Celestial passages and interstellar storytelling weave each composition together. Inspired by a combination of science fiction nostalgia and hard-hitting 70’s rock, C Average forge a fantastical and fascinating sound. III is the first C Average full-length in 17 year.
